A Greek VLCC which was hijacked by pirates off Somalia last month is on the move.
The 319,300-dwt Irene SL has left its anchorage at the Puntland pirate port of Garacad and headed out to sea, an informed source told TradeWinds.
The development comes around the same time another hijacked Greek ship also upped anchor and headed up the Somali coast with suspicions it may have been involved in bunker transfer activities.
