Scorpio Tankers is about to boost its bank balance with the sale of an MR vessel that it bought out of a leasing deal in November.
The New York-listed, Emanuele Lauro-led shipowner said the 50,000-dwt product carrier STI Ville (built 2013) has gone for $32.5m.
The buyer has not been revealed, but the price will be a pure cash flow gain because there is no debt on the ship.
