Russian owner Sovcomflot’s three Arctic shuttle tankers have now carried 1m tonnes of oil from the Novy Port oil and gas condensate field.
The project involves transport from the Gulf of Ob in the Kara Sea to the port of Murmansk.
The milestone cargo was loaded on the 42,000-dwt Shturman Albanov (built 2016) on 29 January at the Arctic Gate marine terminal located near Cape Kamenny.
