BTS Tankers of Singapore has hired Ranesh Sandhu to replace Jesper Klarup as its chief executive.
Klarup is leaving to join Montreal-based Fednav as its vice president of supramax chartering after spending a year at the helm of the Singapore-based product tanker operator.
Sandhu, a Singaporean national who started his maritime career as a deck officer and, later, a captain at Neptune Orient Lines, spent the past 20 years as the Singapore-based senior director of shipping of US-based Marathon Petroleum Corp.
