Samsung Heavy Industries has clinched a deal to build four shuttle tankers for Malaysian-owned AET.
The South Korean shipbuilder said on Friday the ships are costing KRW 392.3bn ($364m) in total.
Delivery will be by October 2020.
TradeWinds reported last week that AET had won a contract from Brazilian giant Petrobras to own and operate four specialist suezmax shuttle newbuildings backed by long-term charter.
