Russia’s oil export revenues fell by 17% in September as Europe continued its hunt for alternative energy sources before a ban on seaborne crude imports starts in December, the International Energy Agency (IEA) reported on Thursday.
With less than two months to go before the first ban comes into effect, European Union countries still need to replace more than half of their pre-war Russian oil imports from other suppliers, the agency said.
