US company Ridgebury Tankers is set to offload a trio of 18-year old VLCCs at a price confirming that secondhand values for crude tankers are going through the roof alongside charter rates.
The deal concerns the 299,500-dwt Ridgebury Utah and its DSME-built sistership Ridgebury Utik (both built 2001), as well as the Hitachi-built 298,300-dwt Ridgebury Artois (built 2001).
