Tanker newbuilding prices are too steep to drive investment in fresh tonnage today, Torm chief Jacob Meldgaard says.
Torm last made an expansion move in April when it took three MR newbuilding options at Guangzhou Shipyard International and it has 10 newbuildings in its orderbook right now.
