Greece’s Performance Shipping has secured a strong price and a big profit for one of its aframax tankers.
The Nasdaq-listed owner said it delivered the 105,000-dwt P Yanbu (built 2011) to a new unnamed owner on Monday.
The Japanese-built ship, which was trading spot in February, was sold for a firm $39m, against a VesselsValue assessment of $34.3m.
