Symeon Palios has retired from Performance Shipping and Andreas Michalopoulos has been promoted to be chief executive of the tanker company.
The Nasdaq-listed aframax specialist's board has also appointed Anthony Argyropoulos to succeed Michalopoulos in the position of chief financial officer.
Michalopoulos has served as Performance’s deputy chief executive since 2019 and as its financial chief since the company was formed in 2010, when it was known as Diana Containerships.
