Greece’s Performance Shipping has taken more term cover for its tanker fleet.
The Nasdaq-listed owner has struck a deal for a non-eco aframax with Marathon Maritime Company, a subsidiary of New York-listed Marathon Petroleum.
The 105,000-dwt P. Long Beach (built 2013) will earn $37,200 per day for two years, plus or minus 40 days at the charterer’s option.
