Parakou Tankers is renewing its fleet of medium-range (MR) tankers and is looking to sell one of its eight modern STX-built units.
The 51,000-dwt Pretty World (built 2007) can be inspected in Fujairah, in the United Arab Emirates, and could probably fetch $17m to $18m. The ship is due for special survey in November.
Shipowner Por Liu confirms that the vessel is for sale if the price is right and thinks the market is promising.
