The search has been called off for a crew member missing from a Neste Oil tanker in the North Sea.
There is little chance the man survived going overboard the 74,500-dwt products tanker Palva (built 2007) into frigid waters on Sunday.
The Aberdeen Coastguard received a distress call from the Finland-flagged ship early on Sunday saying one crew member was missing. The unidentified man, who is understood to be Finnish, was last seen when reporting for duty at 02:00 local time.
