Pakistan is open for demolition business again after three new deals were reported.
Brokers said the 147,000-dwt former Avin International suezmax Navarino (built 1994) has been resold into the country at $380 per lwt or $8.42m.
The 22,165-dwt ship was reported sold as is in Khor Fakkan last month at $408 per lwt.
This will result in a "rather substantial" loss for the cash buyer, according to demolition broker Ed McIlvaney.
