The owner of the aframax tanker linked to an oil spill that sullied Israel's coast has taken on Greek law firm Chiotelis & Co to clear its name.
The as-yet undisclosed beneficial owner of the 112,000-dwt Emerald (built 2002) has denied involvement with the 1,000-tonne spill. It is now providing evidence to the Israeli authorities through the law firm, which it says will clear its name.
