Overseas Shipholding Group has extended an active period for investment in new tonnage.
Fresh from a double tanker order in South Korea, the New York-listed company has now contracted a 204,000 barrel barge for the Jones Act market at Greenbrier’s Gunderson Marine.
The unit will be delivered in 2020 and will be designed to meet Tier III emissions standards, a joint statement said.
