Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) tapped SeaChange Maritime chief executive Samuel Norton to serve as chief executive officer of its US-flag business unit.

The pick comes days after the New York tanker owner revealed that it had filed papers to spin off its international-flag business as a separate company.

Norton replaces Henry Flinter, who is retiring.

His new titles include senior vice president of OSG and president of the business US-flag business.
