Overseas Shipholding Group delivered a profit in its first quarter as a pure-play US-flag tanker owner
The New York-listed shipowner's $5.4m in net income reversed an $8.7m loss on continuing operations a year earlier.
With the earnings of International Seaways factored in, OSG delivered a $50.7m profit in the first quarter of 2016. The former international-flag subsidiary spun off late last year as an independent company.
