Opec+ nations were reportedly discussing plans to delay an increase in production next month after oil prices fell sharply and speculation that a political crisis in Libya affecting exports was coming to an end.
Tanker stocks followed the oil price downwards on Tuesday — which could point to Opec changing its mind on easing production cuts in October because of the potential increase of volumes from Libya, Clarksons said.
