Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB) believes Euronav’s board is too married to the idea of a merger with Frontline and has to go.
The Saverys family-backed company said on Thursday that it requested a special meeting of shareholders — set for 23 March — to replace Euronav’s board because all five have “become intrinsically linked to” the failed mega-merger.
