Oman Shipping Co (OSC) confirmed it is pulling 15 ships from Navig8 Group's VLCC pool as the tanker owner brings its commercial management in-house.
The two companies disclosed the move in a joint announcement that couched the departure of the Omani government-owned company's fleet in amicable terms.
TradeWinds reported last month that OSC's departure was possible.
The company joined the VL8 pool in 2010 as a founding member.
