Tanker owner Odfjell has won its Russian legal wrangle with Sevmash shipyard over the axing of up to a dozen ships.
Sevmash has, however, 30 days to launch an appeal against the decision handed down on Friday by a state commercial court in Arkhangelsk, a statement from Oslo-listed owner Odfjell read on Monday.
The ruling reinforces the findings of a Swedish arbitration panel last year which handed Odfjell victory over the cancellation of orders for up to a dozen 45,000-dwt products tankers in 2004.
