Expanding Ocean Tankers of Singapore has added to its orderbook in China.
Brokers said it has inked a deal for six 11,000-dwt carriers at Fujian Mawei.
The first is due in 2019 and the rest in 2020.
No price has been revealed for the ships.
The owner already has 124 vessels on the water.
These are almost all tankers, but also include three anchor-handlers.
The fleet ranges in size from 15 VLCCs down to bunkering ships.
