Sea Tank Chartering-affiliated holding company Tank AS has purchased a product and chemical tanker from Turkish shipowner Kaptanoglu.
The company reportedly purchased the Desan Shipyard-built 6,400-dwt Tana (built 2011) for $9m.
Tank joint managing director Sigbjorn Tysse confirmed the purchase and said the company already had a similar ship. He said Tana“hopefully will be taken over before the end of the year”.
