Aframaxes trading in the North Sea has been among the worst performances in the crude tanker space so far in 2018, says a top shipbroker.
“Despite traditional support offered to the market during the winter months, spot TCE earnings on the key trade from Hound Point to Wilhelmshaven [the TD7 route] averaged so far in 2018 at disastrous levels,” said Gibson Shipbrokers.
