Danish tanker owner Nordic Shipholding has warned lenders may sell off its fleet if merger talks come to nothing this year.
The Knud Pontoppidan-chaired product carrier specialist has pushed out maturity on $90.2m of borrowings to the end of 2021.
The amount was previously due at the close of 2020.
The company said in January that it was in talks over a possible tie-up with unnamed suitors.
