Nordic American Tankers has appointed Jenny Chu as its newest director, the first woman to sit on the board of the suezmax specialist.
The Herbjorn Hansson-led company announced on Wednesday that Chu would join the company’s board at the end of April.
The New York-listed shipowner described her competence as “impressive” and said she has “comprehensive experience”, having spent more than 25 years in wealth management, working with both corporations and high net-worth individuals.
