Norden has added further tanker tonnage to its fleet with the charter of a Maersk Tankers MR.
Shipbrokers say the 48,000-dwt Maersk Mississippi (built 2010) has been fixed for a year at $13,000 per day.
The rate is better than the $12,000 per day MRs have earned in the year to date on the Atlantic Triangle, according to Clarksons Platou Securities.
