Danish shipowner Norden has bought a brace of tankers from Craig Stevenson’s Diamond S Shipping in a near $34m deal, brokers say.
The transaction extends a period of counter cyclical growth for the Copenhagen-listed shipowner’s products division and comes at a time when the number of tanker deals is spiking.
Diamond S has sold the 50,000-dwt Alpine Minute and Alpine Mystery (both built 2009), shipbroking sources tell TradeWinds.
