Danish shipowner Norden has revealed more vessel asset plays as it adjusts its tanker and bulker fleets.
The company said that its asset management team carried out 10 transactions in the fourth quarter, capitalising on the strong dry cargo market, while optimising the tanker portfolio in line with climate commitments.
In the dry cargo division, the owner is making use of asset prices at 10-year highs to secure “significant” sale profits on its owned fleet, having disposed of four ships in the October to December period, Norden added.
