Danish owner Norden has continued to develop its tanker fleet with the charter of a medium range vessel from South Korea’s Daelim.
Norden has taken on the 50,000-dwt DL Cosmos (built 2007) on a one-year deal priced at $13,250 per day, brokers say.
The charter is the latest in a line of transactions for Norden as it looks for counter-cyclical expansion of its tanker business.
