In the wake of the New York-listedproduct tanker owner’s latest newbuilding order, Mackey said his company is preparedto take on new personnel and would be willing to hire third-party shipmanagers if itsown team is stretched too thin.
“We are sensitive to the challenges of growingquickly and are developing plans to address it,” he told TradeWinds. “Betweenthe number of talented people in the market working at struggling shops and therich field of third-party managers we are sure we can address it.”
