A first few specifics on Qatar's first pass on its LNG carrier newbuilding berths in South Korea have begun to filter out from the mega-project that is monopolising capacity at shipyards.
Those following the process said the six berths declared in November — four at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and two at Samsung Heavy Industries — were for 174,000-cbm vessels.
