Ship Finance International (SFI) has raided Norwegian investment manager Orkla Finans for a new finance boss.
Eirik Eide will before chief financial officer of the John Fredriksen-led company from next month.
The move relieves Ole Hjertaker of his duties as interim CFO to concentrate fully on the chief executive position at NYSE-listed SFI.
Forty-year-old Eide is current heads of corporate finance and shipping investments at Oslo-based finance house Orkla.
