Former ship master and insurance expert Captain Thomas Brown would seem to be the perfect fit for the top job at Shoreline.
Brown, who has been named chief executive at the Bermuda-based insurance provider, made a name for himself in insurance after setting up Seacurus in Newcastle in 2004 to develop an insurance solution to crew abandonment and other issues laid down in the Maritime Labour Convention adopted that year.
