Neda Maritime has concluded a one-year charter extension for an LR2 product tanker that will see it score an earnings boost.
The Lykiardopulo family-controlled shipowning company, which has three LR2s on the water, has chartered the 109,000-dwt Stellata (built 2016) to Trafigura for another year at $21,500 per day, European brokers said.
The trading house had been paying $15,400 per day for the vessel under a year-long charter forged in 2019.
