Sinochem Shipping, China’s largest chemical tanker operator, has parted ways with Captain AK Nanda, who has headed its Singapore-based shipmanagement arm since its inception in late 2015.
Nanda left abruptly on 8 December. The company confirmed his departure but gave no details. Some sources suggest that it may not have been amicable.
A veteran of the shipmanagement industry, Nanda joined Sinochem after a long spell as head of tanker operations at Hong Kong-based Fleet Management.
