Nakilat is moving forward on a $1bn-plus project to convert the main and auxiliary engines on its entire Q-Flex and Q-Max fleet to dual-fuel units.
The long-mooted retrofit looks set to involve all but one of the 45 vessels. The other ship has already been converted.
The Qatari LNG shipping giant posted an advertisement in the careers section of its website for a project manager to lead “the entire conversion project”.
