British MPs have criticised the performance of the body responsible for enforcing the Russian oil price cap.
Two cross-party groups warned that the UK’s tough stance against Moscow risks being undermined by a failure to enforce sanctions breaches.
They cited the performance of the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (Ofsi), which has imposed just eight financial penalties in five years, representing only 1% of 739 reported sanctions breaches.
