Indian tanker owner Mercator has seen its loss widen on falling revenue in its second quarter.

The company said the net deficit was INR 350.35m ($5.45m) to 30 September, compared to INR 270.05m a year ago.

Revenue was down at INR 1bn from INR 1.33bn year-on-year.

The six-month loss reached INR 680.67m, versus INR 218.9m in 2016.

The mixed fleet of 15 ships also includes dredgers, FSOs, a bulker and an LPGC.
