Commodities broker Marex Spectron has confirmed its move into the physical market with the hire of a series of well-known brokers.
It has recruited former Affinity man Simen Ebbesen as head of physical tankers, who will work closely with tanker derivatives boss Nils Arnesen.
Dave Cullen and Archie Chandler will join Ebbesen at Marex Spectron in the first quarter of next year, once their gardening leave at Braemar ACM is complete.
