An LNG carrier controlled by MISC has been detained by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency.
Officials at the MMEA told TradeWinds that the 145,000-cbm Seri Amanah (built 2006) has been detained along with the 1,873-dwt product carrier Rahmat (built 1993).
They said the ships had infringed Malaysian regulations governing the ship-to-ship transfer of cargoes near Pengerang.
It appears the vessels were engaged in bunkering operations.
