International Andromeda Shipping, Pyxis Tankers and Zodiac Maritime have locked away at least three LR2 product tankers on year-long charters as period rates remained well above the spot market.
Reliance Industries has extended the charter of the 115,000-dwt LR2 Orange Stars (built 2011) from International Andromeda Shipping for another year.
The Monaco shipowner will earn a rate of $16,500 per day.
