Laurin takeover sees Hans Feringa quit Norden board

Team Tankers' takeover of Laurin Shipping and Anglo-Atlantic Steamship has led chief executive Hans Feringa to quit as a director of Norden.

Copenhagen-listed Norden said the deal, which closed yesterday, meant Team Tankers was a potential competitor to its own tanker business.

Klaus Nyborg, chairman of Norden, said: “To avoid any conflicts of interest Hans Feringa has decided to resign from the board at Norden.”
