Greek shipowner Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis has wrapped up what could be the beginning in a string of profitable dry bulk asset plays, brokers said.
According to reports, Latsis vehicle Ivy Shipping has sold one of its four supramaxes to Greek peer Neptune Lines.
The 55,900-dwt Ivy Unicorn (built 2011) fetched $16.5m, brokers report.
Managers at Neptune Lines confirm that the transaction took place.
