Japanese shipowner Kyoei Tanker has lowered its profit forecast for the current fiscal year.
The tanker and bulker owner is guiding for net income of JPY 750m ($7.1m) in the year to 31 March 2018, according to figures released today.
The projection is below the earlier JPY 1.2bn but well ahead of the JPY 159m profit 12 months ago.
Kyoei Tanker has a fleet of 16 bulkers, tankers and LPG carriers on the water, and four VLCC newbuildings on order, according to Clarksons.
