Kyoei today told investors it is heading for a gain of JPY 1.3bn ($10.47m) in the year to the end of March 2016.
This marks a rise from both the JPY 654m gain last year and the JPY 600m it previously had pencilled in.
The owner has a mixed fleet of 15 vessels, including five VLCCs, on the water.
