KNOT Offshore Partners shares tumbled on Wednesday after the company admitted near-term shuttle tanker demand was threatening its balance sheet.
The New York-listed shipowner said it was considering moving some of its vessels into the conventional tanker market as oil production in the North Sea has not picked up as quickly as expected, overshadowing the company’s $16m profit for the three months ending on 30 September.
