Kristian Gerhard Jebsen company SKS Tankers is reportedly close to selling its last two ships built before 2000.
After disposing of two 1999-built aframax combination carriers (OBOs), it is left with two Hyundai-built sisterships.
The 109,000-dwt SKS Trinity and SKS Tanaro (both built 1999) are due for special survey this year and, as SKS Tankers tends to keep its ships until they are 20 years old, demolition brokers in Europe believe both will be sold soon.
