Ina statement New York-listed HII said the duo will conduct a study that willexplore what it described as “best-use” opportunities for Avondale, which hasbeen a candidate for closure for some time.
“Oncethe study is completed and a determination has been made for an economicallyviable, best use of the facility, HII and Kinder Morgan Energy Partners maypursue the formation of a joint venture to re-purpose the Avondale site,” itadded.
